Have you ever wanted to start something new, but you felt like you didn’t know enough? So you wait and research and analyze until you feel like you know enough to begin. “But wait, what if there is more to know?” I do this to myself occasionally. Don’t get me wrong. Often, this approach serves me very well. However, every now and then I get stuck in what is sometimes referred to as Analysis Paralysis.

I’ve noticed a pattern though. Sometimes I just need to start whatever it is, and then I’ll figure out the next step. So… it is in doing that which is unknown, that identifies what should happen next. “But what if I mess it up?” Yep! That keeps me stuck too – until I realize that I’ll just learn what doesn’t work.
