Sadly… it has been a long time. Again. In my last post, I mentioned a water challenge I was doing with family members. Believe it or not, we are still going strong. I don’t make my goal everyday, but I have to say when I get a water update from someone else via text, it motivates me to get (or keep) going.

In February of this year, I did a 14 Day No Sugar Challenge. The challenge was inspired by my daughter who was doing it with her co-workers. After reviewing the documents, one of my co-workers and I decided to start our own challenge. It was tough, and I wasn’t perfect, but I made it.

Recently, my uncle challenged me to give up dairy. I have made strides and reduced dairy, but I have not totally eliminated it from my diet. I did finally find a non-dairy milk that I can make my lattes with, and still enjoy them. Organic Oat Milk. It’s been almost a month since I last visited Starbucks. NOTE: No, I haven’t given them up either, but a month without stopping in is pretty impressive for me. Trust me… I have had coffee and lattes during this period.

Speaking of my uncle, he and my aunt have switched to a macrobiotic diet which I have delved into researching and trying to understand. While I may not fully transition to becoming macrobiotic, I have been inspired to have some macrobiotic meals which includes whole grains and a vegetable with each meal. (Even breakfast.) I wonder if there is such a thing as Flexobiotic. LOL!

Aside from that, I have lots of info to share. Let’s see if I actually follow through!
