I won’t even ask where the year went. It seems unreal that it is already November 2020. Typically around now we would be having an event. Not this year.
In early February, I was looking forward to posting about the One Plant-based Meal per Day challenge that I did in January. Additionally, I had sent out proposals to begin teaching Qigong classes during the summer. However I soon became pre-occupied with the pandemic. Coping with staying healthy and eventually Shelter in Place/Stay at Home orders. Who knew that my greatest fashion choice of the year would be which face mask to wear?
Nevertheless COVID-19 happened. Is still happening. Early on, it was great to see a lot of people step up and offer help in numerous ways. As I received helpful tips for staying healthy and/or techniques to boost my immune system, I shared them with friends and family. They did likewise. Soon everything was happening in Zoom meetings: workouts, family gatherings, hanging out with friends.
The seasons flew by, and Thanksgiving is fast approaching. Unfortunately now the numbers are spiking again. Some areas currently have a Stay at Home advisory, and there may be further restrictions soon. Recently I heard that if we plan to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families, we should all be quarantining now.
Anyhow, that’s my attempt at catching up. Hoping to get more posts in before the end of the year. We’ll see how that goes!
