Inspired by my Reduce Added Sugar Challenge, I came up with this Drunken Fruit Wine recipe in order to use the natural sugars from frozen and fresh fruit to sweeten my wine.

2 T Organic Frozen Blueberries
6 Organic Frozen Cherries
1/2 Orange Fresh – juice and fruit
Dry white wine of your choice – Chardonnay

Instructions

Add the frozen and fresh fruit/juice to a 12 oz Mason jar.
Pour the wine into the jar until it reaches the fill line.
Cover with the lid and store in the refrigerator for 6 hours or longer.
Shake the jar (over a sink) to mix before opening.
Pour into 2 glasses – including the fruit. Be sure to eat the fruit to get the remaining sweetness – and the fiber. 😉

Feel free to make this recipe your own. Once you fine tune it, use a larger jar to make a bigger batch. Enjoy!
